On June 15, 2012, President Barack Obama changed how the Department of Homeland Security enforces immigration laws against certain young people who were brought into the United States as children.

If you were under the age of 31 on June 15, 2012, you may qualify for new benefits if you meet certain requirements.

These benefits may include a work authorization card which will allow you to receive a social security number.

The Executive Order will not provide you with a “green card” at this moment.
